A singer, actor, TV host, author and multiple BRIT Award nominee, Toyah has carved out a truly extraordinary career spanning more than five decades. Known as the High Priestess of Punk, she burst onto the scene in 1976, forging a unique path as both a musician and actress, with acclaimed performances at the National Theatre and London’s Royal Court.
Her breakthrough film role in Quadrophenia propelled her into the spotlight, soon followed by chart success with iconic hits including It’s A Mystery, I Want To Be Free and Thunder In The Mountains. Her album Anthem achieved gold status and earned her BRIT Award nominations for Best Female and British Breakthrough Act.
Alongside her music career, Toyah has appeared on stage and screen with legendary names including Sir Laurence Olivier and Roger Daltrey, while continuing to evolve as a presenter, performer and recording artist, releasing 16 studio albums.
