East 17 were formed in 1991 and have undergone multiple line- up changes with Terry Coldwell remaining the only constant member. The group was named after the postcode of their hometown Walthamstow.
East 17 have achieved eighteen top-20 singles and four top-10 albums, and they were one of the UK's most popular boy bands during the early to mid-1990s. They have sold over 18 million albums worldwide and they have been certified with sales of 1.8 million albums and 2.4 million singles in the UK.
Their biggest hit STAY ANOTHER DAY was the Christmas No 1 in 1994, but they also scored 12 TOP 10 hits between 1992-1998 including HOUSE OF LOVE & ITS ALL RIGHT.
In 1996 The group hit No 2 with the track IF EVER and they even performed at the 2009 Glastonbury Festival.
In 2017 they toured Australia & New Zealand with Atomic Kitten, S Club 3 & Liberty X.
The group continues today under the line-up of Terry Coldwell, Joe Livermore since 2019
and former Artful Dodger collaborator Robbie Craig since 2014.
